The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
