In a bizarre collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
